Join the KOC team on site at KOC at UT Medical Center, the Region's only Academic and Level 1 Trauma Center. This role will support the Orthopedic Institute, one of UT Medical Center's 9 Centers of Excellence, through a long-standing partnership with KOC providers. We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Surgical Technologist who is committed to providing superior service and eager to grow within a highly respected orthopaedic practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare supplies and equipment for surgical procedures

Assists physician and nursing staff as directed before, during and after

Creating and maintaining a sterile field

Conduct inspections for deficiencies and count of instruments
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

Certification and BLS required
-
Surgery experience preferred

Maintain patient confidentiality and compliance standards

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Work in a busy orthopaedic surgery environment

Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and independently
