Representative Duties

- Reviews grant applications and contracts for content and budgeting.
- Performs budget analyses and recommends adjustments on assigned grant programs.
- Reviews cash needs of assigned grants and prepares requests for funds to meet minimum (weekly) disbursement requirements.
- Provides initial approval of grant purchase orders, invoices, reimbursements, and other payment requests, ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
- Prepares correspondence concerning all assigned grant-related items (contracts, amendments, etc.).
- Prepares journal vouchers, indirect cost invoices, financial reports, and other documents on assigned grant programs.
- Verifies accuracy of required financial reports submitted to grantor agencies.
- Assists in performance of on-site reviews of grant program departments and evaluates compliance with applicable grant regulations for assigned grant programs.
- Advises grant program managers concerning grant rules and regulations, procedures, and controls.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
