What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Worker position at Orange City Area Health System?
Description: Responsible for providing medical social services to patients in the hospital and also in their home. He/she serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team in providing assistance with social, emotional and economic concerns of the client and family, thus enabling them to achieve or maintain an optimal level of functioning.
Number of Hours: 32-40 hours/week
Schedule: Varies.
Educational Requirements: Master’s degree from a school of social work accredited by the council on Social Work Education (CSWE) or a bachelor's degree in SW from a CSWE accredited institution, or bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, or other field related to social work.
