What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist position at Orange City Area Health System?
Description: The Physical Therapist evaluates patients, develops a treatment program and then performs treatment and/ or direct a physical therapist assistant to carry out the treatment to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury. The physical therapist will also communicate with all pertinent members of the patient’s health care team.
Number of Hours: Full time, Salaried, occasional weekends.
Schedule: Typically from 8am – 5pm, with some variance based on patient needs.
Educational Requirements: Degree from physical therapy program accredited by Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) and a valid state of Iowa physical therapy license.
