What are the responsibilities and job description for the PM Cook-Landsmeer Retirement position at Orange City Area Health System?
Description: The PM Cook prepares the supper meal, salads and desserts. If full-time, this person will train to AM Grill and other Dining Services positions at Landsmeer or the Hospital.
Number of Hours: Full-Time: 32-37.5 hours/week. Casual: 0-15 hours/week.
Schedule: Full-Time: 4-5 shifts per week. 11pm - 7am, some 6am - 2pm shifts. Every other weekend, and 4 holidays per year (determined by pre-set schedule each year).
Casual: 0-15 hours/week. 11:15am-7:15pm, every other weekend and holiday. Fill in as needed.
Educational Requirements: High school diploma preferred. Will train and provide sanitation course.
Other: Demonstrates interest in providing beautiful appetizing meals. Attention to detail required. Good communication skills and a commitment to customer service are vital. Must be willing to cross train to other positions in the kitchen. Cooking experience a plus, but will train.
