Strategy & Operations Manager – Personalization

Optomi is in partnership with a major telecommunications and technology client seeking a Strategy & Operations Manager to own and drive personalization strategy across the organization. This role will consolidate and evaluate personalization use cases from multiple teams, align them with broader business priorities, and help shape execution within the Adobe ecosystem. You'll work cross-functionally with Platform, Strategy, Marketing, and Operations teams to build a unified personalization roadmap and operating model. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, operational rigor, and hands-on experience with CDP-driven personalization.

Experience of the Right Candidate:

  • Strong background in strategy, operations, and execution within marketing or digital environments
  • CDP expertise - deep understanding of journeys, audiences, targeting, and segmentation concepts
  • Adobe ecosystem proficiency - hands-on experience with Adobe Target, AEP, or similar personalization platforms
  • Technical translation skills - ability to bridge technical/data concepts with business-ready strategies
  • Hands-on personalization experience - proven track record building journeys, audiences, or personalization rules
  • Cross-functional leadership - demonstrated stakeholder management and alignment skills across multiple teams
  • Operational excellence - experience structuring use cases, building roadmaps, and creating documentation
  • Bonus: Personalization or lifecycle marketing background, Snowflake or data environment knowledge, and prior work in scaled digital or marketing operations functions


Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:

  • Own the end-to-end personalization strategy across teams and business units
  • Gather, assess, and structure personalization use cases from multiple cross-functional stakeholders
  • Identify overlaps, dependencies, and gaps; establish a unified use case roadmap aligned with business priorities
  • Collaborate closely with Platform and Strategy teams to align strategy with activation capabilities and data availability
  • Conduct hands-on work within Adobe Target and journey-building tools when needed
  • Support execution by translating strategy into operational plans, workflows, and documentation
  • Partner with Platform Operations to ensure personalization strategies align with CDP capabilities
  • Drive process improvement and contribute to the development of a scalable personalization operating model
  • Track and communicate progress on personalization initiatives and their business impact
