Project/Program Manager
Optomi, in partnership with a leading telecommunications and digital services organization, is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join a high-visibility Digital Sales PMO team. This individual will support strategic initiatives focused on customer acquisition, digital buying journeys, and ongoing e-commerce enhancements. The team manages revenue-driving projects that directly impact customer-facing digital experiences and executive-level business objectives.
This is a highly visible role within a small PMO organization where Program Managers regularly present project updates to Vice Presidents and senior leadership. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management fundamentals, exceptional communication skills, and experience leading software development initiatives within Agile environments.
Location: Hybrid in Denver, CO (2x onsite)
Type: Long-term contract (W2 Only)
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of Project or Program Management experience
- Proven experience managing software development projects through the full SDLC
- Experience interfacing directly with application development teams, product teams, and business stakeholders
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project delivery frameworks
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and executive-facing skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive project execution without direct authority
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and manage project dependencies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting e-commerce, digital sales, customer acquisition, or customer-facing web platforms
- Experience working with mobile digital products or digital marketing initiatives
- Hands-on experience with Jira
- Experience using Monday.com or similar project tracking platforms
- Exposure to AI-related initiatives or technology transformation programs
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple concurrent software development projects from initiation through delivery
- Drive project execution, timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications
- Partner with Product Managers to understand business objectives, requirements, epics, and development priorities
- Facilitate communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership
- Prepare and deliver project status updates, executive summaries, and presentations for VP-level stakeholders
- Identify project interdependencies and proactively mitigate risks that may impact delivery
- Coordinate efforts across Software Development, Product Management, UI/UX, QA, Technical Support, and third-party partners
- Track project progress using Jira and other project management tools
- Support initiatives involving digital sales experiences, customer acquisition journeys, web enhancements, and emerging AI-related projects
- Ensure projects remain aligned with business goals, timelines, and organizational priorities
