Central Madison Direct Support Professional Needed

Must have WI Driver's License!

Schedule: Tuesdays 5:15 - 10pm, Wednesdays 12:30-5:15pm, Thursdays 12:15 - 10pm, and Fridays 12:15 - 5:15pm 

We're seeking a compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professional to support a person in achieving her goals and living her best life. As a DSP, you'll play a vital role in empowering our client to participate in community activities, engage in meaningful experiences, and develop a sense of independence.

Responsibilities:

* Assist our client in participating in community activities that promote socialization and skill-building
* Engage in activities that bring joy and fulfillment to our client's life
* Read and respond to triggers and tensions to ensure our client's emotional well-being
* Follow individualized support plans to provide tailored support and care
* Build a trusting relationship with our client, founded on respect, empathy, and understanding

Qualifications:

* Valid Wisconsin driver's license with a clean driving record
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassion, patience, and understanding of individuals with diverse needs
