Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 3p-11p
We're seeking a compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professional to support a young person in achieving their goals and living their best life. As a DSP, you'll play a vital role in empowering the person we support to participate in community activities, engage in meaningful experiences, and develop a sense of independence.
Responsibilities:
* Assist the person we support in participating in community activities
* Engage in activities that bring joy and fulfillment to the life of the person we support
* Read and respond to triggers and tensions to ensure the emotional well-being of the person we support
* Follow individualized support plans to provide tailored support and care
* Build a trusting relationship with the person we support founded on respect, empathy, and understanding
Qualifications:
* Valid Wisconsin driver's license with a clean driving record
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassion, patience, and understanding of individuals with diverse needs
