Position overview:
The Maintenance Manager position encompasses the following:
- Safety of the equipment and facility.
- Maintenance of all production equipment, support equipment, facility equipment, facility infrastructure, facilities, and grounds.
- Compliance with local, county, state, and federal requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Safety
- Ensure safe practices of maintenance team members.
- Ensure equipment is operating will all safety features active.
- Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM)
- Establishment of TPM schedule for each equipment type.
- Completion of maintenance as required.
- Development and maintenance critical parts inventory.
- Establishment, tracking, and achievement of TPM Metrics.
- Capital Planning
- Development of methodology for replacement/repair of equipment.
- Development of capital budget.
- Management of capital projects.
- Downtime and Repair Management
- Development and maintenance of work order system.
- Management work order completion.
- Analysis of downtime and repair records to develop TPM program.
- Team Management
- Day-to-day supervision of the maintenance team.
- Direct supervision of maintenance and repair work.
- Support of repair and maintenance projects.
- Development of the maintenance team, including succession planning.
- Compliance
- Adherence to IATF-16949
- Adherence to ISO-14001
- Adherence to ISO-45001
- Adherence to local, county, state, and federal EPA requirements.
- Adherence to local, county, state, and federal OSHA requirements.
- Continuous Improvement
- Development of continuous improvement opportunities.
- Development and implementation of continuous improvement plans.
- Establishment and tracking of improvement metrics.

Skills and Qualifications:
- 7 years’ experience in a related technical role, including at least 5 years of experience in large-scale manufacturing operation.
- Experience with electrical systems
- Strong leadership skills with experience working with both management and technical/maintenance personnel.
- Experience as a direct people manager involving encouraging, motivating, coaching, training, and developing growth plans for team members.
- Communicate with all department team members on company events, visitors, and activities.
- Track record of achieving and exceeding maintenance KPIs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Continuous Improvement culture.
- Knowledge of electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanic and automation.
- Ability to develop, manage, and optimize the maintenance team.
- Priority setting capabilities, time management, and flexibility.
