Compensation: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour (non-exempt/hourly)

Position Summary

As a Service Porter, you will support the service department by maintaining vehicle flow, assisting customers, and ensuring the service lot is organized and safe. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals interested in learning more about dealership operations and growing their careers in automotive services.

As a Service Porter, you will play a vital role in delivering a seamless, premium experience for Jaguar and Land Rover guests. Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Handling: Safely move guest vehicles between the service drive, service bays, car wash, and parking areas.

• Guest Interaction: Provide courteous, professional assistance during vehicle drop-off and pick-up.

• Lot Organization: Keep the service area clean and well-organized for efficiency and guest safety.

• Service Team Support: Help service advisors and greeters with vehicle prep, flow control, and lot coordination.

• Operational Assistance: Support dealership operations by taking on additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.
   
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles (preferred).
   
• Must be at least 18 years old (in accordance with insurance and safety regulations).
   
• Strong communication skills and a positive, professional demeanor.
   
• Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods.
   

Additional Information

• This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime in accordance with California labor law.
   
• Breaks and rest periods are provided in compliance with state regulations.

• Unrestricted California driver's license and clean driving record without any violations.
• 4 years of driving experience
• Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.
• Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces.
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Strive to respect and facilitate teamwork within all departments.

• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
