Immediate Need for Day and Swing Fabricators: (Welder / Fitter)

Position: Welder / Fitter Location: NE Portland, OR Pay: $28-$32/hour DOE with room to grow Schedule:

Day Shift: 6:00AM - 2:30PM

Swing Shift: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM

• Paid Lunch Included for Swing
• Must pass a 3G weld test
  
  

Who We Are: Our client is a busy manufacturing and fabrication shop in N.E. Portland looking for experienced welders and fabricators to join our growing swing shift team. We take pride in producing high-quality fabricated parts for a variety of industries while maintaining a strong team-oriented environment focused on craftsmanship and precision. What You’ll Do:

• Fit, fabricate, and weld parts using shop drawings and blueprints
• Perform FCAW welding and assist with TIG welding as needed
• Operate fabrication equipment, welding machines, drill presses, and shop tools
• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings accurately
• Ensure finished products meet quality standards and customer specifications
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

What You Need to Have: The Musts:

• Minimum 2 years of welding experience
• FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) experience
• Basic TIG welding knowledge
• Experience operating fabrication and shop equipment
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Ability to pass a 3G weld test
  
  

Preferred:

• Strong fitting and fabrication experience
• Well-rounded welding background
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
