Position: Fabrication & Installation Technician

Location: Tukwila, WA

Pay: $25-35/hr DOE

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Who We Are:

A well-established diesel truck and trailer repair shop is looking for a skilled Fabrication & Installation Technician to join the team. This is a hands-on role focused on custom fabrication, equipment installation, and electrical work for commercial trucks and trailers.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform metal fabrication and custom modifications on trucks and trailers
• Install truck equipment, including liftgates, frames, and other components
• Complete electrical wiring and troubleshooting for installed equipment
• Read and interpret work orders and installation specifications
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
• Collaborate with the shop team to complete projects efficiently

What You Need to Have:

• Minimum of 3 years of fabrication and installation experience
• Experience with electrical work on truck equipment
• Valid Driver's License
• Reliable personal transportation
  
  

The Musts:

• Metal fabrication experience
• Installation experience with truck equipment
• Electrical wiring and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to safely use fabrication tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  
  

Preferred:

• Experience working on commercial trucks and trailers
• Welding experience
• Ability to read blueprints or fabrication drawings
