Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Housekeeper to join our team at a licensed Adult Foster Care (AFC) home. The ideal candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, many of whom require assistance due to age or disability. This part-time role is essential to supporting the health and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Change bed linens and launder resident clothing and household items.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and ensure personal items are organized.
• Dispose of trash and recycling appropriately.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and household items.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the home manager.
• Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect residents’ privacy and dignity.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred, especially in a healthcare or residential setting.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Must pass background checks and meet AFC licensing requirements.
