HousekeeperOliver Woods Assisted Living and Memory CareShift Information: Full-Time, 8am-4:30pmPOSITION SUMMARY Responsible to provide a clean environment for residents.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSClean, disinfect and straighten resident rooms, work areas and common spaces according to cleaning schedule, which may include but not be limited to:Clean carpets, furniture and draperies with vacuum cleaner or shampooerSweep, scrub and policy hard floors using broom, mop or power scrubberScrub and disinfect sinks, tubs, toilets and bathing roomsDust and polish furniture and metalworkWash windows, sills and doorsClean and disinfect spills and soiled areas as needed or directedDeep clean according to scheduleMove and straighten furnitureMaintain cleanliness of unoccupied rooms to make them attractive for resident occupancyEmpty wastebaskets and properly dispose of trashCollect, wash, dry, fold and distribute laundry as directedEnsure equipment is stored properlyPromote positive relationships with residents, staff and visitorsPerform any other duties as requested within the scope of responsibility and requirements of the job.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
