A growing midstream energy company is seeking an experienced Plant Operator to support operations at a cryogenic natural gas processing and NGL fractionation facility in East Texas. This role is responsible for safely operating plant processes from both the DCS control board and the field, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor cryogenic gas processing and NGL fractionation systems from a DCS control system
- Monitor pressures, temperatures, and gas composition to maintain product specifications
- Operate and monitor compressors, turbines, and other rotating equipment
- Perform plant rounds, inspections, and basic preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot process upsets and equipment alarms
- Support NGL product handling and maintain accurate shift logs
- Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- 5 years operating in natural gas processing, NGL, petrochemical, or similar industrial facilities
- Experience operating from a DCS control system
- Knowledge of compressors, pumps, and process instrumentation
- High school diploma or GED and valid driver’s license
Preferred
- Cryogenic processing or NGL fractionation experience
- Experience with DeltaV, SCADA, or similar control systems
