We've teamed up with a leading offshore energy operator and they're seeking an experienced Facilities Engineer to support repair, maintenance, and capital projects for Gulf of Mexico offshore production assets. This role focuses on managing facility repairs, brownfield modifications, and engineering projects, while coordinating closely with third-party engineering and design firms to ensure safe, efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead repair and upgrade projects for offshore production facilities.
Manage engineering scope, budgets, schedules, and Authorizations for Expenditure (AFEs).
Provide oversight of external engineering/design firms and contractors.
Support offshore construction, maintenance, and facility optimization initiatives.
Ensure compliance with offshore safety and regulatory standards.
Maintain facility documentation including P&IDs and equipment layouts.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or related engineering discipline.
10 years of offshore facilities experience, preferably in the Gulf of Mexico.
Experience working with both operators and engineering/consulting firms preferred.
Strong background in repair or brownfield modification projects.
PE license preferred
