Position SummaryThe Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading the day-to-day maintenance operations of an industrial facility. This role ensures all equipment, machinery, and building systems are operating safely, efficiently, and in compliance with OSHA, GMP, and company standards. The Maintenance Supervisor manages technicians, prioritizes work orders, minimizes downtime, and ensures preventative maintenance programs are followed. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & SupervisionSupervise, train, and schedule maintenance techniciansAssign daily work orders and prioritize emergency repairsMonitor technician performance, safety compliance, and workmanshipEnsure all maintenance activities follow safety, GMP, and lock-out/tag-out proceduresEquipment & Facility MaintenanceMaintain and repair:Production equipmentConveyors, motors, pumps, and compressorsPackaging and processing machineryHVAC, boilers, refrigeration, and utilitiesTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issuesPerform and oversee preventative maintenance (PM) programsReduce unplanned downtime through proactive maintenanceSafety & ComplianceEnforce OSHA, food safety (GMP), and facility safety rulesEnsure lock-out/tag-out, confined space, and hot-work procedures are followedMaintain safety and maintenance recordsParticipate in safety audits and inspectionsPlanning & DocumentationMaintain CMMS or maintenance logsTrack work orders, parts usage, and repair historyCoordinate with production, QA, and managementOrder parts and manage inventory of maintenance supplies Required Qualifications3–7 years of industrial maintenance experience1–3 years in a lead or supervisor roleStrong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skillsExperience in manufacturing, warehouse, or food production environmentsKnowledge of:PLC basicsElectrical systems (480V, 3-phase)Hydraulics and pneumaticsAbility to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manualsPreferred QualificationsFood or GMP facility experienceOSHA safety trainingCMMS experienceWelding or fabrication skillsHVAC or refrigeration experienceCompany DescriptionOneCruit is a disruptive multi-state human capital business.
