JD Home Rentals is seeking to hire a full-time Maintenance Supervisor. The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, painting, and other building systems.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance Department.
- Supervise, manage, and coordinate all maintenance staff and subcontractors.
- Evaluate buildings, systems, and facilities to identify maintenance needs, repairs, and improvement projects.
- Assess building systems to plan work assignments, prioritize tasks, and develop project schedules.
- Lead and manage full remodel projects from planning through completion.
- Develop, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance procedures and schedules.
- Ensure all maintenance, repair, and remodel work is completed accurately, safely, and in a timely manner.
- Monitor quality of work and ensure compliance with company standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Assist with preparing departmental budgets and estimating costs for maintenance, repairs, and remodel projects.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Proven ability to manage and lead a maintenance team.
- Extensive experience and knowledge in full remodel projects, including planning, execution, and oversight.
- Strong understanding of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, and finishes).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and work orders.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.

Requirements
- Fluent in Spanish
- Must have pick up truck and tools ( will be reimburse )
- Must have a valid drivers license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
