Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, business drivers, and market segments within the Permian Basin
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through technical expertise, integrity, and high-quality service
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to inform sales strategies
- Develop and execute sales strategies specific to beam pumping unit (BPU) systems and related services
- Influence customer specifications and requirements for BPU equipment and solutions
- Prepare proposals in response to customer needs, RFQs, and RFPs, while effectively communicating technical value
- Provide informal quotes and recommend tailored solutions to meet customer objectives
- Identify and develop new product and service opportunities to strengthen the BPU portfolio
- Participate in bid strategy development for key opportunities
- Maintain and update contacts, leads, and opportunities within the CRM system
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver a best-in-class customer experience
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to long-term regional growth
Qualifications/Skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Solid technical background in artificial lift, preferably with beam pumping unit (BPU) systems
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed in a competitive sales environment
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to sales
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- 10–15 years of experience in oil & gas production, artificial lift, or BPU systems
- Prior experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce preferred
- Production-related experience considered a strong asset
