This role involves ensuring efficient use of space and resources, maintaining accurate records, and providing administrative support to facility management operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in facilities administration, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to managing day-to-day tasks. Key Responsibilities: * Facilities and Floorspace Management: Oversee the tracking and utilization of SSC facilities and floorspace, ensuring alignment with organizational requirements and operational needs.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to facility management teams, including preparing reports, maintaining records, and managing communications.
- Space Utilization Analysis: Analyze current space usage and recommend adjustments or improvements to optimize resource allocation.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date facilities documentation, including layouts, occupancy records, and utilization reports.
- Coordination and Communication: Serve as a point of contact for facilities-related inquiries, coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve issues effectively.
- Compliance: Ensure facilities operations comply with all relevant regulations and standards, including DoD and Air Force policies. * Experience: A minimum of 10 years in facilities management or administrative support roles, with experience in tracking and managing large facilities and workspace environments.
- Education: Associate's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field is required.
- Clearance: Active Secret clearance is required.
- Skills: * Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical skills for assessing space utilization and preparing actionable recommendations.
- Familiarity with DoD and Air Force facilities management processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of SSC operations or similar military facilities management environments.
