Position Summary:
The corporate headquarters at Omega Holdings is looking for a detail-oriented individual with a background in automotive parts or other related parts to help ensure consistent quality of our products and maintain documentation of the proper specifications. This individual will work with various teams and divisions across the US & Canada to support aggressive growth targets. This role will report to the Product Engineering Manager.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work with a variety of measurement tools and testing machinery to complete disassembly of automotive products to ensure dimensional and material matches to internal requirements
- Maintain full documentation on the required specifications of the products and be able to communicate those details upon request to internal employees and external customers
- Full analysis of warranty returns to provide a clear understanding of the potential cause of failure on automotive products
Desired Professional Skills and Experience:
- 2-5 years of work experience with automotive parts or similar parts
- Ability to use and understand calibrated measurement tools
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to repeat activities in accordance with internal procedures
- The ability to present and communicate results effectively to customers, sales teams, and management
- Good communication skills in both written and verbal expression
- Experience with automotive parts a plus, but not required
