Focus: Martinsburg & Surrounding Communities
This role is based out of our Martinsburg, West Virginia hub. We are specifically looking for a local expert who is comfortable navigating the unique layout of our city and the surrounding regional routes.
Core Responsibilities
- Safe Transit: Execute scheduled and on-demand transport in a safe, courteous manner, strictly adhering to all traffic laws and Omega safety protocols.
- Vehicle Stewardship: Conduct rigorous pre-trip and post-trip inspections (fluids, brakes, tires, safety gear). You’ll be responsible for reporting mechanical needs immediately and maintaining a clean vehicle.
- Passenger Advocacy: Provide hands-on assistance for passengers with mobility challenges, including professional boarding/de-boarding and the expert securing of wheelchairs.
- Precision Documentation: Maintain meticulous logs for trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts.
Required Qualifications
To ensure the safety of our community, all candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Local Knowledge: Strong, functional knowledge of Martinsburg, WV, and the surrounding Berkeley and Jefferson County road networks.
- Licensing: Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a Passenger endorsement.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience (healthcare or transit settings preferred).
- Driving Record: A clean record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Compliance: Ability to pass a comprehensive physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening.
- Age: Minimum of 18 years old (21 if interstate transport is required).
Preferred Extras
