Turn Passion into Progress. Build Careers. Change Lives.
At Omega Health Services, we don't just fill vacancies—we dismantle barriers. As a CARF-accredited, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), we are the bridge between untapped talent and inclusive workplaces. We are seeking a self-motivated Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist to lead our mission on the ground in Martinsburg.
The Mission: Why This Role Matters
You aren’t just a coach; you are a catalyst for independence. You will work directly in the community with Veterans, individuals with ASD/DD, and those facing economic hurdles, ensuring they don't just find a job, but find a place where they belong.
The Impact: What You’ll Do
- Advocate & Negotiate: Act as the professional liaison between your clients and local business partners, securing "win-win" employment matches.
- On-the-Ground Coaching: Provide "real-time" support during orientations, new hire paperwork, and the first critical weeks of a new role.
- Solve for Accessibility: Identify and implement assistive technologies and reasonable accommodations to level the playing field.
- Foster Integration: Help clients build "natural supports" within their new teams to ensure long-term retention and social connection.
- Mobile Management: Manage your caseload independently using a company-provided tablet and reimbursed travel (full mileage covered).
The Omega Edge: Why You’ll Love It Here
- Professional Mastery: We invest in you. Access scholarships and industry-leading certifications like ACRE, CESP, and WIP-C at no cost.
- Financial Wellness: Competitive pay with scheduled increases, monthly COMPT stipends, and the SmartDollar wellness program.
- Total Security: Comprehensive Health, Dental, Life, AD&D, and Long-Term Disability insurance.
- Flexibility & Autonomy: A field-based schedule that values your results over your desk time.
- Rest & Recharge: "Earn-as-you-go" PTO and paid holidays.
Who You Are: Your Superpowers
We value a mix of formal education and "lived experience." You are a fit if you have:
- Education/Experience (One of the following):
- A Bachelor’s Degree (any field).
- An Associate’s Degree 1 year of relevant experience.
- A High School Diploma/GED 2 years of relevant life or work experience.
- The "People" Factor: You are a natural communicator who is comfortable pitching to business owners and advocating for others.
- Independence: You thrive in the community and enjoy a change of scenery every day.
- The Essentials: A valid Driver’s License, reliable vehicle, and the ability to pass a background check/drug screen.
