Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- No touch Freight
- Navigate using GPS systems efficiently to meet delivery schedules across multiple locations.
- Transport automobile parts or other cargo securely, ensuring proper load & unload procedures for logistics cargo handling.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with hazardous materials regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and compliance records in line with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route changes, delivery updates, or any issues encountered during transit.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid CDL A license.
- Demonstrated knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, and hazardous materials regulations.
- Prior delivery driving experience involving freight transport via tractor-trailer trucks.
- Experience navigating GPS navigation systems for route planning and execution.
- Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling processes including load & unload procedures for various types of freight.
