What you’ll do
- Assess and repair damaged pallets using various hand and power tools to restore them to optimal condition
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand repair specifications
- Perform construction tasks including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and fixture installation
- Execute concrete forming, plastering, and caulking as needed during the repair process
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols
- Engage in heavy lifting and physical tasks as required by the job demands
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills in woodworking, restoration, and other relevant areas
Basic qualifications
- Strong experience with hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques
- Familiarity with woodworking, carpentry, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience in the restoration industry or maintenance person roles
- Knowledge of water damage restoration, mold remediation, or flooring installation
- Skills in plumbing, electrical work, masonry, or tile laying are a plus
