We have a physical presence in Manchester, London, Dublin, Amsterdam, Brussels, Antwerp, Milan, Frankfurt, Zurich, Hong Kong, Singapore, New York, Charlotte and Austin.
Oliver James have been working the USA market placing Senior professionals across our core disciplines for over 10 years setting up physically in October 2015. We place senior professionals on both a contract and permanent basis across IT, Data & Analytics, Change Management, Finance & Accountancy, Finance and Underwriting, Claims and Broking into the financial services, consultancy, fintech and technology businesses.
As a Managing Associate you will be responsible for mentoring our Perm team and be responsible for managing and growing existing accounts while bring in new clients.
Job description:
- As a Managing Consultant, you will be expected to be a hands-on recruiter who can lead by example. All Recruiters at Oliver James operate in 360-degree roles, proactively headhunting candidates and developing and establishing existing Client and new business relationships.
- Responsible for managing junior team members whilst holding key relationships across the desk.
- Responsible for developing a desk from scratch, sourcing candidates and matching them to suitable roles.
- The successful applicant will be targeted on head hunting candidates from Junior level up to Board level.
- The successful applicant will be focused on building and developing a profitable perm desk, mapping out main target companies, working closely with the existing team, sharing information and contacts and taking advantage of our extensive existing client base.
- You will be responsible for achieving set targets; KPI’s will include an annual, quarterly and monthly revenue target, phone activity, CV’s out (jobs and speculative), interviews, jobs and headhunts which can all be reviewed on a weekly or monthly basis and reported to the Senior Management team.
- You will be expected to network with your candidates and clients frequently, organising networking events and client presentations.
- Be responsible for managing and driving growth by using your previous knowledge of this market to gather and organise information to help Oliver James establish itself in the US perm market.
- The successful candidate will also be responsible for negotiating commercial terms with multinational companies, understanding the implication of the PSL for both permanent and interim hires.
- You will be expected to cross sell other disciplines and incorporate other business areas into the relationship you cultivate.
