Role & Responsibilities
- Advise on insurance regulatory and compliance matters across U.S. entities
- Partner with internal stakeholders on product development, filings, and regulatory strategy
- Support interactions with state insurance regulators, including inquiries and filings
- Assist with product filings, endorsements, and related regulatory requirements
- Provide guidance on corporate governance and internal compliance initiatives
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and advise on legal risk
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments impacting the business
- Collaborate cross-functionally on broader legal and operational projects
- MUST HAVE Juris Doctor
- MUST HAVE admission and in good standing with the NY or CT Bar
- MUST HAVE 4 years of legal experience, within P&C insurance regulatory, compliance, and/or corporate law
- BigLaw experience (strong private practice and in-house experience accepted – MUST have most if not all skillsets)
- Experience with product filings, endorsements, and/or regulatory submissions
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills across commercial agreements
- Exposure to reinsurance markets
- International or cross-border experience
- Base Salary: ~ $150,000 – $200,000
- Bonus: ~20% discretionary (with upside)
- 401k match (up to 6%, immediate vesting)

- NYC or Connecticut (back-up location is Long Island)
- Hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 day remote
