ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide outstanding service and contribute to overall team effort.
- Monitor relevant regulatory proposals and changes and recommend appropriate courses of action.
- Identify and investigate potential compliance violations.
- Create and maintain policies, procedures, terms and conditions, and related items.
- Participate in ongoing compliance education.
- Coordinate and support regulatory exams and outside audits.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with regulations, policies and procedures.
- Conduct assigned account monitoring for high risk activity.
- Coordinate with Training to review and conduct compliance training.
- Assist with new product and service implementation, ensuring appropriate compliance is met.
- Review ads, signage and other marketing materials for compliance.
- Serve as internal source for compliance expertise, including practical implementation of compliance requirements within all processes.
- Maintain deposit, loan and other forms, including working with vendors and staff to implement any changes.
- Understand and maintain knowledge of all related rules and regulations.
- Ensure confidentiality regarding member transactions and information.
- Ensure compliance with all credit union policies and procedures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Two years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a financial institution.
- Equivalent combination of college level education and experience is acceptable.
