Team OKC, under the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, is seeking a Director, Transportation to lead the planning, refinement, delivery, and operations of venue transportation services across Oklahoma City-based competition and non-competition venues. This role requires extensive collaboration across LA28 & Team OKC functional areas, as well as external partners, while maintaining strong credibility and ensuring critical milestones are achieved.
The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in large-scale event transportation and operations, with a proven ability to perform in complex, high-stakes environments.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in transportation planning, engineering, urban planning, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Ten or more years of experience in transportation planning, design, construction, operations, or maintenance, preferably within a public transportation agency capital program or similar environment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in complex, high-profile, multi-agency operational environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong organizational and self-management abilities.
- Ability to travel independently with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift and carry up to thirty pounds.
