Team OKC, under the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, is seeking an experienced and strategic Director, Marketing/Communications to lead our go-to-market plans and marketing campaign initiatives. This role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing and communications strategies that elevate brand visibility, engage diverse audiences, and drive revenue growth.
The ideal candidate is an exceptional storyteller with strong project management skills, able to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to bring the Team OKC brand to life across multiple platforms. This leader embodies the spirit of Team OKC and will play a key role in building a legacy for the Olympic and Paralympic movement by creating meaningful connections with fans, athletes and the community.
Qualifications:-
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field preferred.

Eight to twelve years of progressive marketing experience required.

Five to six years of leadership experience, ideally within events, sports, or high-profile campaign environments.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Asana, Smartsheet, and related marketing tools.

Demonstrates exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Proven self-starter with the ability to perform successfully under general supervision within a structured organization.

Maintains a professional, diplomatic demeanor with strong relationship-building skills.

Familiarity with Olympic content, sustainability initiatives, and community impact programming preferred.

Ability to travel independently with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
