Job Overview
We are seeking highly motivated, reliable, and hardworking Construction Laborers to join our team. We specialize in erosion control, excavation, and grading for both residential and commercial projects. You will be responsible for assisting in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
There will also be opportunity for on the job training to learn equipment operation.
The ideal candidate should be hard working, motivated, reliable, detailed, and willing to learn and grow in the field.
Applicants must:
- Have a driver's license
- Be capable of driving a truck/trailer with equipment
- Have a clean driving record

- Starting pay is $18-$20 hourly based on experience with a 90-day probationary period. Raise opportunity after successful 90-day probationary period.
- Additional pay increase for entry-level equipment operators with relative experience ($20-$23 per hour)

Duties
- Perform general labor tasks including digging, lifting, and moving materials as needed
- Assist with excavation, grading, and erosion control projects
- Driving truck/trailer with equipment to job sites
- Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris and hazardous materials.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision while adhering to safety protocols
- Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately
Skills
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Basic knowledge of construction methods and tools is preferred but not required
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors
- Attention to detail with a focus on safety practices on the job site.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to construction work.
