URGENTLY HIRING – DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (DSP) – NORTHFIELD RD AREA
We are urgently hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a high-behavioral, home-based case in the Northfield Rd area. This client presents with frequent and intense behaviors, becomes easily triggered, and requires consistent supervision, structure, and calm, professional de-escalation. This is not a typical care role—we need someone with a serious commitment to behavioral support and client safety.
This position demands maturity, quick decision-making, and emotional regulation. You must be able to stay composed under pressure, follow strict behavioral plans, and respond to crisis situations as needed. Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges is highly preferred, and prior DSP or behavioral support work is strongly valued.
Pay rate is $17–$18/hour, depending on experience and certifications. Responsibilities include behavior redirection, crisis prevention, light housekeeping, meal prep, and daily living assistance. Reliable transportation is required. Candidates must provide: Social Security card, valid driver’s license, high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification (or enroll in our $60 class), completed DSP training, and medication certification.
