What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Installation Project Manager position at Oceanview Landscape Inc?
Key Responsibilities:
- Serving as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Managing mid-size landscaping projects ($250k–$750k) and enhancement projects ($25k–$150k ), typically 8–14 active projects at a time.
- Protecting project financial performance, including job costing, forecasting, and margin management.
- Leading the client-facing kickoff and closeout processes.
- Preparing, pricing, presenting, and securing approval for all proposals and change orders.
- Coordinating with the Senior Construction Manager and Construction Managers to support scheduling, field execution, subcontractors, and quality standards.
- Overseeing procurement and material ordering to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Owning the final client punch list, closeout, and warm handoff to the Maintenance/Account Manager.
- Maintaining project documentation, communication logs, and change order history.
- Influencing and reinforcing Oceanview’s safety standards during site visits.
- Upholding Oceanview’s culture, values, and standards of professionalism in all interactions.

Qualifications/Skills:

Minimum (3) years of experience with landscape project management - please do not apply otherwise

Knowledge and proper care practices of tree/shrub planting

The ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a high-energy environment

Excellent communication skills - both oral and written

Ability to use computer programs

Clean NYS driver's license

Salary : $90,000 - $130,000
