Irrigation Tech

Oceanview Landscapes is looking for a reliable, hands-on Irrigation Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems across high-end residential properties.

We’re looking for someone who can think independently in the field, take ownership of their work, and consistently deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair irrigation system issues (leaks, valves, wiring, controllers, pressure problems, etc.)
• Perform system start-ups, winterizations, and seasonal maintenance
• Locate and repair underground issues, including valve boxes and pipe breaks
• Program and troubleshoot irrigation controllers (Hunter, Rain Bird, etc.)
• Ensure proper system coverage and efficiency across properties
• Communicate clearly with team members and report issues as needed
• Maintain organized service records and job notes
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently

Qualifications

• 2 years of irrigation experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience with common irrigation systems and controllers (Hunter, Rain Bird, Toro, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and long hours during peak season

Salary : $23 - $30
