Logistics Dispatcher

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized Customer Service Representative / Dispatcher to join our growing pallet manufacturing and logistics operation. This role is ideal for someone with strong dispatching, scheduling, and customer communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in coordinating deliveries, supporting drivers, communicating with customers, and ensuring daily operations run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Dispatch & Logistics Coordination (Primary Focus)

• Coordinate and schedule daily deliveries, pickups, and route assignments
• Dispatch drivers efficiently based on customer needs, timing, and location
• Monitor driver routes and shipment status throughout the day
• Communicate with drivers, carriers, and warehouse teams to ensure on-time service
• Proactively resolve delivery delays, scheduling conflicts, or service issues
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, schedules, and delivery records
• Update customers on ETA changes, delays, and order status
• Assist in optimizing routes and improving operational efficiency

Customer Service Support

• Serve as the main point of contact for customers via phone and email
• Process orders, service requests, and delivery updates
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent communication

Sales & Administrative Support

• Assist with order confirmations, quotes, and follow-up communication
• Support account management for existing and new customers
• Identify opportunities to increase service offerings and customer satisfaction
• Perform general administrative support related to dispatch and customer accounts

Qualifications

• 2 years of dispatch, logistics coordination, or transportation experience required
• Previous experience in customer service or operations support preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and sense of urgency
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
• Experience in pallet, lumber, manufacturing, transportation, or logistics industries is a plus
