What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Global Payroll Analyst position at Oakleaf Partnership?
Duties:
- Oversee and process accurate and timely monthly payrolls across multiple locations in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Perform pre- and post- payroll audits in accordance with internal controls to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct peer review of US and International payrolls to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Administer leave-related payments in accordance with company policy and local requirements.
- Serve as primary back-up for all other global payrolls.
- Develops and maintains process documentation to be used as resource for training, internal controls, and auditing purposes.
- Monitor payroll mailboxes and respond to inquiries promptly, accurately, and professionally.
- Provide employees with timely, professional support by phone, email, and in-person, while educating them on procedures and policies.
- Identify, recommend, document, and implement process improvements to reduce risk and manual effort and enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare monthly payroll journal entries and provide support and guidance to Accounting as needed.
- Prepare year-end compensation statements for expatriates.
- Prepare and submit annual filings in accordance with local requirements.
- Review annual tax reporting for accuracy and compliance in accordance with local requirements.
- Perform other responsibilities and support special projects and broader global payroll initiatives as needed.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 7 years' progressive payroll experience, including ownership of international payroll processes.
- Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, processing, benefits administration, and year end reporting/filing requirements.
- Experience supporting a mobile, global workforce and navigating payroll considerations across multiple jurisdictions (US, APAC, EMEA).
- Payroll accounting and controls experience, including general ledger postings, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Workday and Oracle.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively across global teams in a face-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and resourceful, with a strong focus on accuracy and operational excellence.
Salary : $45 - $55
