OâBrien Nissan of Bloomington is seeking a results-driven Used Car Manager who knows how to acquire inventory, turn vehicles quickly, and maximize profitability.
This is not a passive management role. Weâre looking for a hands-on leader who understands todayâs market, takes ownership of performance, and executes with urgency every single day.
What Youâll Be Responsible For
- Actively sourcing inventory daily (service drive, street purchases, auctions)
- Managing inventory levels, aging, and overall turn strategy
- Pricing vehicles competitively and adjusting quickly to market trends
- Overseeing reconditioning to ensure vehicles are frontline-ready within 72 hours
- Driving used vehicle sales performance and gross profit
- Collaborating with the sales desk on deal structure and trade evaluations
What Weâre Looking For
- Proven success in used car management or high-level desking
- Strong understanding of:
- Market-based pricing
- Cost-to-market strategy
- Inventory turn and aging management
- Decisive, fast-paced decision maker
- High level of accountability with a results-oriented mindset
- Strong communication and collaboration with sales and service teams
- Experience in F&I, may be needed to be a back up in the F&I office
