Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Front Counter Associate to join our team! In this vital customer-facing role, you will be the first point of contact for guests and clients, providing exceptional service while efficiently managing daily operations at the front desk. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries in a friendly, professional manner
- Handle cashiering duties including cash handling and processing payments using the point-of- sale system
- Answer phone calls and assist customers with questions
- Check in and tag dry cleaning and laundry orders accurately by inspecting garments thoroughly
- Communicate with production staff to ensure customer orders are completed correctly and on time
- Organize complete orders for pick-up
- Maintain cleanliness of the front counter area and ensure all workspaces are organized and sanitary
- Assist with heavy lifting of laundry loads or garments as needed, following proper manual handling procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring customer satisfaction
Skills
- Experience hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Experience with cashiering systems or cash register operations preferred
- Attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail-oriented work ethic with the ability to multi-task
