Duties

• Carefully sort incoming laundry items based on type, color, fabric, and cleaning requirements
• Inspect textiles for stains, tears, or damage, and communicate any issues to supervisors
• Handle heavy loads of linens and materials using proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury
• Maintain cleanliness of work area by regularly cleaning equipment and sorting stations
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
• Assist with loading and unloading laundry carts and materials handling equipment as needed
• Qualifications
• Prior experience in cleaning or laundry operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move materials for extended periods
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workspace at all times
