What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Counter/Barista position at Alpha Delights European Bakery and Cafe?
Are you creative, energetic, and love to make new friends? Our Small bakery\cafe is looking for a Barista\ front counter to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee, tea and smoothies. Responsibilities include creating lasting relationships with customers, coming up with new and interesting drinks, educating customers on our menu, and up-selling special items. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills, an amazing attitude, and be creative.
No late nights (most days we close at 3pm) and very limited weekends.
Flexible schedules and willing to train someone with the right personality.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they enter, make a connection and invest yourself in their needs
- Take orders while paying attention to details
- Prepare beverages following recipes
- Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffins and sandwiches
- Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
- Keep the bar area clean
- Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates
- Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
Skills
