Barista

Company Overview: Hyatt Regency Green Bay is seeking a Barista.  Did you know we are located in the in the heart of downtown and home of the Green Bay Packers? The hotel is minutes away from major sporting events, cultural activities, entertainment, museums, and attractions.  We are the largest, full-service hotel in the market with 243 all-suite guest rooms and 80,000 square feet of space.

Position Summary: The Barista will be responsible for serving all guests in the market. The right person should be a coffee connoisseur, have a good understanding of espresso equipment, and sanitation standards, with a focus on maintaining an attractive coffee bar. This position offers opportunity for casual conversation, creativity, and allows for building on ones’ style and previous barista experiences.

Detailed Description:

• Maintain a positive, high energy attitude with a professional appearance.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, as well as on their own.
• Responsible for food and drink service at the hotel market.
• Must have a strong and positive guest service orientation.
• Gain menu knowledge and be able to give recommendations to the guests.
• Engage in casual conversation and must maintain an attractive setting. 
• Style and service attributes are key to creating memorable guest experiences with personalized and friendly customer service.
• Fast-paced environment with constant customer interaction.
• Must maintain a well-organized area, a sanitary environment and restocking station as needed.
• Foster an atmosphere where guests’ need, and satisfaction take top priority, creating memorable experiences for our guests.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, continuously walk throughout the restaurant, and lift 10-20lbs.
• Abide by all organizational policies and procedures.
