We’re seeking an organized, patient‐focused Patient Service Coordinator for a 13‐week contract assignment in a healthcare setting. In this role, you’ll serve as a key point of contact for patients, families, and clinical teams—helping ensure a positive, efficient, and well‐coordinated patient experience.
Schedule
- 13‐week contract
- Monday–Friday
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- No weekends
What You’ll Do
- Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone with professionalism and compassion
- Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments, procedures, and follow‐up visits
- Manage patient check‐in/check‐out and ensure accurate demographic and insurance information
- Maintain and update patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and clinical staff to support care coordination
- Answer patient questions and address concerns in a timely and respectful manner
- Assist with referrals, authorizations, and coordination of services as needed
- Support administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and report preparation
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required (associate degree or healthcare coursework preferred)
- Previous experience in a healthcare, medical office, or patient‐facing administrative role preferred
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with computers, EMR systems, and Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‐paced healthcare environment
- Professional, compassionate, and patient‐centered approach
