We’re seeking empathetic and experienced Hospice Registered Nurses who are dedicated to supporting patients and families during end‐of‐life care. What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive hospice and palliative nursing care focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life
- Assess and manage pain, symptoms, and overall patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
- Develop, implement, and update individualized hospice care plans
- Educate patients and families on disease progression, symptom management, and end‐of‐life expectations
- Offer emotional support and guidance to patients, families, and caregivers
- Collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Coordinate care across settings including home, inpatient hospice, or hospice facilities
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in the medical record
What We’re Looking For
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 1 year of recent hospice, palliative care, or acute care RN experience required
- BLS certification required
- Strong assessment and symptom‐management skills
- Compassionate, patient‐advocate mindset with excellent communication skills
- Ability to support patients and families through emotionally complex situations
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Travel may be required for home hospice assignments (between patient residences or care locations)
- Inpatient hospice roles are facility‐based and do not require travel
