What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Sales Consultant position at NS Autos Inc?
NS Autos is a new independent used-car dealership at 4028 Hanover Pike in Manchester, MD, just north of Hampstead and Westminster. We carry late-model cars, trucks and SUVs and work with buyers across the credit spectrum through multiple lenders. We are building our first sales team and are looking for people who treat customers the way they would want to be treated.
What you will do:
- Greet walk-in customers and respond quickly to phone, text and online leads
- Learn our inventory and walk customers through vehicles and test drives
- Explain pricing, financing options and the buying process clearly and honestly
- Follow up with prospects and keep notes in our dealer management system (DealerCenter)
- Help keep the lot and vehicles presentable and photographed
- Support the finance manager with paperwork and delivery
What we are looking for:
- Friendly, honest and comfortable talking to people all day
- Car sales or other sales experience is a plus, but we will train the right person
- Comfortable with phone, text, email and basic computer work
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Able to work Saturdays
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
What we offer:
- Base pay plus a $300 commission for every vehicle you sell, paid when the deal funds
- Paid training on products, financing and our systems
- Small team, direct access to the owner, and room to grow with the store
- Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm. Sundays off.
