Job Type: Fulltime Permanent Role/Direct Hire
Salary Range: $80K - $100K/annum plus benefits

Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing industrial equipment manufacturer. This role will focus on developing innovative electrical solutions, enhancing existing products, and supporting high-performance automated systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a product category by driving innovation, guiding technical direction, and mentoring engineering team members
- Design and develop electrical circuits for automated control systems (motors, sensors, control devices, etc.)
- Create and maintain control system standards, including design templates, documentation, and procedures
- Develop control panel layouts and field wiring diagrams
- Prepare technical documentation, checklists, and support materials for quality and operations teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production and engineering teams to support system integration and troubleshooting
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices
- Take ownership of projects and adapt to evolving priorities in a dynamic environment
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with electrical schematic design tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar
- Knowledge of industrial control panel design and electrical systems
- Familiarity with applicable standards (e.g., UL or similar)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in automated equipment or similar industrial environments
- Exposure to control systems design and integration
