Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Principal Engineer to lead advanced engineering projects, develop innovative technologies, improve product performance, and provide expert technical guidance. This role involves complex engineering analysis, research, testing, continuous improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex engineering projects, research, and product development initiatives.
- Develop and improve engineering designs, materials, processes, equipment, and technologies.
- Conduct engineering analyses, testing, and research to evaluate product performance and feasibility.
- Analyze technical data and establish performance standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve product quality, performance, manufacturing processes, and costs.
- Provide expert technical recommendations and present findings to customers and senior management.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and recommend improvements to engineering procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical problems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, engineering standards, documentation practices, and aerospace regulations.
- Mentor engineers, share technical expertise, and support knowledge transfer.
- Manage project goals, resources, schedules, and deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical/Electronic, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10 years of related engineering experience.
- Advanced knowledge of engineering principles, theories, technologies, and industry practices.
- Experience leading complex engineering projects and technical initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to evaluate complex technical challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience mentoring engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Preferred: Master’s degree in a related engineering discipline.
Salary : $130,000 - $160,000
