Title: Manufacturing Engineer I

Duration: 6 Month Contract
Payrate $55–$59/hour
About the Role:
Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support aerospace MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) operations. You'll partner with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes, optimize material flow, drive Lean/Kaizen initiatives, and ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop manufacturing process flows, travelers, and routing documentation.
- Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency, quality, safety, and cost.
- Support Lean manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives.
- Interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and specifications.
- Validate material conformity and repair requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, logistics, and procurement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, FAR/DFAR, and contract requirements.
- Investigate quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 2 years of aerospace manufacturing/MRO experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and engineering documentation.
- Familiarity with FAR/DFAR requirements is a plus.
