Multi-billion-dollar global company with sales and service centers around the world. Sales and service of fluid systems products to the following industries: industrial, commercial, manufacturing, gas exploration, biotech, power and chemical/petrochemical, and more.
Looking for an outside salesperson who is a self-starter, self-motivated, take-charge, and take-on a challenge type of person. Will take over an existing book of business valued at $2.5MM and grow the business: 60% business development, 40% account management.
Customers: Fluid handling and processing companies, chemical facilities, refineries, UP stream pipelines, power plants, and glass manufacturers.
Products: Fittings, Valves, Regulators, Hoses and Flexible Tubing, Custom Assemblies, and other fluid related products.
Fully Remote, Territory: Southeast Michigan, Northwest Ohio want someone located here.
Sales Cycle
Daily - Customers reach out to inside sales team, they process the order, you get the credit/commission.
Weeks/Months You sell a custom solution, higher commission

Qualifications
- 3 - 10 years experience in technical sales selling industrial/fluid system products
- Ability to build strong customers relationships in face-to-face meetings
- Consultative sales approach (not a product pusher) with excellent presentation skills
- Ability to identify new sales or substantial growth opportunities for their products
- Ability to be the technical expert to their customers with engineering support
- Degree: ME, ChemE or IE preferred, will consider others
- Experience with SAP B1 is a plus
- Ability to pass a background check and drug testing (hair, urine, breath) annually and onsite at customers required.
