We’ve proudly planned events ranging from Amazon’s intimate executive dinners in New York, to Quantstamp’s product launch in Turkey, to Google’s offsite at Universal.
Within the first 6 months of launching, Nowadays has experienced exponential growth, growing to $3.4M in booked revenue from customers including Amazon, Google, and Notion.
Nowadays’ leadership team is comprised of talented MIT software engineering graduates as well as prestigious backgrounds including Google, Meta, Amazon, Doordash, and McKinsey.

As a Founding Software Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our tech, product, and culture — and in building the future of how people gather.
💼 What You’ll Do
- Own our full stack (React, TypeScript, Next.js, Node/Python)
- Ship high-quality features quickly, grounded in real customer needs
- Build and scale the AI systems powering our product
- Make key technical decisions and influence overall product direction
- Shape our engineering culture, tools, and roadmap from day one
- Experience building and shipping full-stack products end-to-end
- Strong product intuition and a deep care for user experience
- Confidence with SQL and modern web frameworks
- A bias toward action—you like working fast, learning quickly, and taking initiative
- Motivation to build something people actually use
- Experience deploying AI / LLM tools in production
- Strong eye for UI/UX and design quality
- Zero-to-one startup experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Working Times: US (PST) Hours
- Must be based in San Francisco
- $130K-$170K
- 0.5% - 2% equity

Salary : $130,000 - $170,000
